Dave is also one of the founding members of The Squad. He and Andrew were part of Courtesy Laughs, a three-man improv team that dominated the university's improv league. The funny thing is, Dave almost missed out on his calling as an elite improv actor. Dave grew up as an athlete, loving all sports. The last thing Dave ever thought he would be interested in was anything to do with drama. While majoring in Physical Education at Trinity Western University, in Langley, B.C., Dave was invited to try his hand at improv. Known as a funny guy on campus, he was asked to fill-in for a sick improv actor one night. Having never tried improv, but always up for a challenge, Dave agreed. Good thing. Dave and improv are a match made in Heaven...literally.
Dave excels at building a relationship with the audience, an invaluable quality in improv. For some reason, within the first few minutes everybody just loves Dave. He's is one of those naturally funny guys. He's also genuine and humble. Its no wonder Dave is so often a crowd favorite.
Dave and his wife, Lisa, and daughter Jaeda, live in Langley, British Columbia. Lisa also has one "in the oven", so look for an exciting update to Dave's family later this summer.
