Sort of, not really…
Andrew earned a degree of Communications from Trinity Western University. Helpful, but it did not make him funny (It’s all natural, baby). Scott graduated from TWU with a drama degree although it did not focus directly on improv comedy. 11:07 did offer workshops that both Scott and Andrew took in order to compete. Scott also studied and performed with Vancouver TheatreSports League in the beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Scott graduated from the VTSL Resident Improvisor Training Program, and perform on the main stage, where other well-known Canadian Actors (ie. Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles & Ellie Harvey) have been featured. Cliff achieved a BA in Pastoral Leadership from Briercrest Bible College in Caronport, Saskatchewan and took only one drama class while there that had nothing to do with improv. He did take workshops at Vancouver TheatreSports League and eventually, like Scott, graduated from the RITP and performed on the main stage.
The Panic Squad, as a team, continually improve upon their skills by taking workshops when the opportunities arise. We have most recently studied under Keith Johnstone, best know for inventing the TheatreSports format and his book IMPRO!
